Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lead UI Engineer to guide our front-end development team and create exceptional user interfaces. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance UI components that enhance user experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless and visually appealing applications.

Responsibilities:

As a Lead UI Engineer, you will lead the front-end development efforts, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices in coding and design are followed. You will oversee the architecture of UI solutions and continuously improve the performance and accessibility of our applications.

• Lead and mentor the front-end development team

• Design and implement reusable UI components and libraries

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into high-quality code

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards compliance
  
  

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of modern web technologies. Experience with large-scale applications and agile methodologies is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Proven experience as a senior or lead front-end developer

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design

Additional skills that will help you excel include knowledge of backend integration, testing frameworks, and cloud deployment. Passion for continuous learning and innovation is a plus.

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)

• Familiarity with testing tools like Jest, Cypress, or Selenium

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Understanding of GraphQL and RESTful APIs

• Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities
